Never Blend In.

A few months ago, there was a movie premiere right here in San Francisco's Castro Theatre. It was the Premiere of the movie 'Milk'... it had a full cast, Sean Penn, who plays Harvey Milk in the movie, alongside James Franco and Emile Hersch who were also there. However I didn't know this was all going on...or else i would have been there...i didnt realise til i got home from work that evening and seen it on the tv...that was the week after i partied a little too hard the weekend before...so i was wrecked...

Anyway the movie was released Nationwide 2 weekends ago...and i went to see it at the weekend past... WOW is all i can say. I learned so much about San Francisco's culture. Basically the movie is based around Gay Rights Activist, Harvey Milk who was the first openly gay man to be elected into Public Office in America. I never new who Harvey Milk was before I came to this city. Turns out he affected the lives of every minority group out there. I learned so much about the city and actually getting to watch the movie in the city where it was made, and watching it in the Castro Theatre that you can actually see in the movie. They fixed the lights on the Castro Theatre sign for the movie. At the end they showed the cast against the real people...they seemed to get it pretty acurate and the acting in this movie is incredible. So if you ever see the movie...which i think you probably should :) ... remember...'Scottie's been there, the lucky duck :)'
